I bought this book five or six years ago and have read it several times since then. At this point I have over five thousand books on my Kindle so it had been a couple of years since the last time I read it. I couldn't remember the name of the book or the author. I just kept remembering the letter M. After three days (and nights) of going through the list of all my books in my cloud with extreme frustration I got the brilliant idea to go to my content on Amazon. There I reversed the list to oldest to newest. And Walla! There it was. Wolfen. By Madeline Montague. M. But that doesn't tell you about this book. This is five Alpha Alphas. They all instantly want Danika even though she is human which is a big no no. There is so much testosterone, hot loving, humor, and darting going on in this book it's hard to catch your breath. I LOVE this book, and even better? There are two more books in this series set in the same world with Wolfen. Call of the wolf and Hunger of the Wolf. Both are definitely worth reading. I can't recommend this series enough. Enjoy! 😀

Well, kinda.... 5 hot Wolfen find their mate, kinda. This damsel in distress just draws them in and next thing you know you have them literally fighting for her. Who really wins remains to be seen. Except for 1 DP scene all the sex was the same.... Literally.
WOW! Wonderful story with great characters! This author has terrific story lines that are COMPLETE! Great length so I feel it was worth the price. The description gives you the basics so I'm not going to spoil anything! Be aware that this book puts one woman with several men with a HEA! Enjoy!
This book had me cracking up. if it had not been for the humor, it would have been a total bust. I didn't care for the story at all. There were several events that happened that didn't get followed up on. In the end, I thought what happened to the rogue wolf?
The intimate parts were somewhat skimmed over especially considering that was half of the book. The characters were ok. Dani's personality had holes in it. Sometimes she was mousy, other times she was bold; too extreme. She did alright with the men though. The Men did not get equal focus so I really didn't get to know Jared and Xavier as well as Dakota, Con & Balin. The internal monologue was way too long; had me skimming pages.
The action scenes were pretty good.

What made me drop my rating from three stars to two was the horrible horrible editing job. This is the worse editing job I have come across. There was a lot of missed words and misspellings that was very distracting to the story and just quite frankly bugs me. Whoever's job it is to proof before publishing should be fired.
A bit wordy and over explanatory but great storyline. Great characters. I cried, i laughed, i got turned on lol. And awesome ending!!!
The book had enough plot to rate higher than porn while still having the sexiness expected of a ménage novel. I found a lot of the scenes funny, especially when Danika brings out the tranquil gun. However I felt like the males got weren't loved as much as the female. While they all have a HEA it bothered me that one of the males even commented on the fact that he knows she doesn't love him as much as he loves her. Overall the novel was much better done than a lot of paranormal menages out there. (FMMMMM)
I am inclined to like M. Montague books, have liked her books in the past, but the heroine in this book was darn irritating. She was kind of like the dumb blond in horror movies that always gets it first but this time she was always rescued by the guys even though she did incredibly stupid things. I like a leading lady with a little more sense and can occasionally get themselves (and maybe the hero) out of trouble. This is my own personal taste and you may well like the helpless. The guys were quite likable, fairly well developed and easy to enjoy.
